We acknowledge how the Spirit has never been silenced, but boldly speaks the unchanging heart and messages of our eternal God across generations. We confess the times we have tuned out or ignored the Spirit's prophetic voice because the messages felt difficult or inconvenient. We lament the moments we persisted in our own ways rather than heeding the Spirit's urgings and course corrections out of delayed obedience or doubt. We pray for courage and boldness to be used as the Spirit's prophetic mouthpieces, speaking words of warning, judgment and conviction in love to those who have wandered from God. Our desire is for the Spirit's life-giving, truthful words to pour forth with power and authority through us as we become resonating trumpets for the Holy Spirit's voice.
